Safe & Drug Free Schools & Communities Title IV
Mission
The purpose of the Safe and Drug Free Schools and Communities (Title IV) efforts are to support programs that prevent violence in and around schools, that prevent the illegal use of alcohol, tobacco, and drugs; that involve parents and communities; and that are coordinated with related federal, state, school, and community efforts and resources to foster a safe and drug-free learning environment that supports student academic achievement (Title IV, Part A. Section 4002).
This comprehensive plan which was developed by the district includes:

- Saturday Conflict Resolution
- Responsive Classroom
- Resource Offices (middle and high schools)
- Act 171 Training
- Life Skills Curriculum
- Safe School Audits
- SADD
- Peer Mediation
