English Language Proficiency Test (ELPT)

In response to requirements in both Title I and Title III of the Every Student Succeeds Act, the English Language Proficiency Test (ELPT) was developed. ELPT measures English language development in reading, listening, writing, and speaking. The intended purpose of the ELPT is to measure the annual progress of English Learners in grades K-12 as they progress towards full English Proficiency.
