Technology is systemically deployed to organize, analyze, and communicate information that drives effective teaching and learning. The district’s teachers, students, administrators, and managers are provided with technologies that meet the standards set by national/international organizations.

Building 21st Century Classrooms

With ever-changing instructional technology, St. Charles Parish Public Schools continues to research innovative models to implement into the classroom. Some of these models include uses of interactive devices, collaborative web-based tools, data analysis tools, and online curriculum. Professional development is an integral part of the implementation process. Teachers design model lessons to engage students using these tools.

St. Charles Parish Public Schools ensures that students and staff have access to up-to-date technology through its Long Range Strategic Action Plan (LRSAP). The plan includes action steps for the acquisition, replacement and implementation of technology.
