Mr. Gregson's Bio:
Ray Gregson was elected to the school board in 2022 and began serving in 2023. A native of River Ridge, he graduated from Archbishop Rummel High School in 1995. He went on to study business and finance at Delgado Community College and the University of New Orleans before attending the Harry Wendelstedt Professional Umpire School. A former Minor League Baseball umpire, Mr. Gregson retired from the Triple-A Pacific Coast League at the end of the 2007 season. He currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the River Region Chamber, a position held since 2024, and continues to umpire collegiate baseball.
In addition to Mr. Gregson's service on the school board, he is involved in community and professional organizations as a member of the Louisiana School Boards Association, Rotary Club of St. Charles Parish, multiple economic development boards and community advisory panels within the River Parishes, HHS Touchdown Club, Hahnville Baseball Dugout Club, National PTA, National Association for the Education of Young Children, World Baseball and Softball Confederation, and National Association of Sports Officials. He is married to Sherri Jacob Gregson, has three children, and resides in Luling.

Mr. Cody's Bio:
Scott Cody was elected to the school board in 2022 and began serving in 2023. He is a native of Lubbock, Texas, and a 1994 graduate of Monterey High School. He went on to receive his bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University. Previously a sports reporter and anchor, he is currently the Executive Director of 3131 Media Solutions.
In addition to Mr. Cody's service on the school board, he is involved in community and professional organizations as a member of the St. Charles Parish Selective Service System Board and an upward basketball coach for Williams Boulevard Baptist Church. He is married to Jill Hezeau Cody, has two children, and resides in Destrehan.

Mr. Alexander's Bio:
Ellis A. Alexander, Sr. was elected to the school board in 2006 and began serving in 2007. He is a native of Hahnville and a 1966 graduate of G.W. Carver High School. He went on to attend the University of New Orleans, Loyola University (New Orleans), and Nicholls State University. Mr. Alexander is retired after 35 years in the workforce.
In addition to Mr. Alexander's service on the school board, he is involved in community and professional organizations as a member of the National School Boards Association, Louisiana School Boards Association, Louisiana Caucus of Black School Board Members, officer of South Central Planning & Development Commission, and Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He received the Distinguished Board Member Award in 2010 from NSBA, was recognized as a Friend of Public Education in 2016 by LSBA, and received the Martin Luther King, Jr. Trailblazer Award in 2016. He is the son of the late Doris Lee Douglas and Henry Charles Alexander, Jr., married to Christine Bart Alexander, has four children and two grandchildren, and resides in Hahnville.

Ms. Boudreaux's Bio:
Karen L. Boudreaux was elected to the school board in 2022 and began serving in 2023. She is a native of Temple, Texas, and a 1997 graduate of Foley High School in Foley, Alabama. She went on to receive a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration - Hospitality & Tourism and a Master of Business Administration Degree from Columbia Southern University. She is a U.S. Army Veteran and owns a private art studio.
In addition to Ms. Boudreaux's service on the school board, she has been involved in community and professional organizations. She is a member of the Louisiana School Boards Association, a former Board Secretary for A Safe Space (a domestic violence organization), and a mentor for three semesters at both Destrehan and Hahnville High Schools. She also served in youth and young adult ministries as well as the worship team at the Des Allemands Assembly of God Church. Furthermore, she played a role in helping to bring Special Olympics into the school system. Ms. Boudreaux is married to Gregory "Dustin" Boudreaux, is raising three children, and resides in Bayou Gauche.

Mr. Smith's Bio:
John L. Smith was elected to the school board in 1982 and began serving in 1983. He is a native of St. Rose and a 1959 graduate of Mary McCleod Bethune High School. He went on to earn a degree in speech, social studies, and school administration from Southern University. Mr. Smith is retired after more than 30 years in education serving the public school students of St. Charles and Orleans Parishes as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, area superintendent, and deputy superintendent.
In addition to Mr. Smith's service on the school board, he is involved in community and professional organizations as a member of the National School Boards Association, Louisiana School Boards Association, Louisiana Caucus of Black School Board Members, Fifth African Baptist Church, and the River Parish Golf Association. He has served in numerous roles on the state level as a two-time president of the Louisiana School Boards Association and has been recognized by a number of local and state organizations for his outstanding contributions to education and community. He is married to Evelyn J. Smith, has two children and nine grandchildren, and resides in St. Rose.

Ms. Weber's Bio:
Becky D. Weber was elected to the school board in 2022 and began serving in 2023. She is a native of Norco and a 1980 graduate of Destrehan High School. She went on to receive her bachelor's degree from Southeastern Louisiana University and her master's degree from Nicholls State University. She retired from St. Charles Parish Public Schools after 35 years, having served as a teacher, administrative intern, and principal.
In addition to Ms. Weber's service on the school board, she is involved in community and professional organizations as a member of the Louisiana School Boards Association, St. Charles Parish and Louisiana Retired Teachers Associations, Norco Civic Association, River Road Historical Board, St. Charles Public Schools Foundation, and Celebration Church in Kenner. She was named Teacher of the Year for Norco Elementary School in 1993 and the 2016 St. Charles Parish Public Schools Principal of the Year. She is married to Stephen G. Weber, has raised five children, has eight grandchildren, and resides in Norco.

Mr. Aucoin's Bio:
Art Aucoin was elected to the school board in 2010 and began serving in 2011. He is a native of Hahnville and a 1982 graduate of Hahnville High School. He went on to receive his bachelor's degree in general studies from Nicholls State University. He then taught and coached for eight years in St. Charles Parish Public Schools and retired from Bayer/Monsanto as a senior environmental technician.
In addition to Mr. Aucoin's service on the school board, he is involved in community and professional organizations as a member of the National School Boards Association, National Federation of Urban and Suburban School Districts, Louisiana School Boards Association, the Knights of Columbus, Hahnville High School Touchdown Club, HBA, HClub, and Holy Family Catholic Church. He is married to Suzanne Legendre Aucoin, has three children and four grandchildren, and resides in Luling.

Mr. Suffrin's Bio:
Alex L. Suffrin was elected to the school board in 2006 and began serving in 2007. A native of Plaquemine, he graduated from Plaquemine High School and went on to receive his bachelor's degree from Nicholls State University. He then earned his Pre-CPA from Louisiana State University. A former sports information director at Nicholls and assistant sports information director at LSU, Mr. Suffrin retired from the Society of Louisiana CPAs in 2015 after 25 years of service as an association executive. He is a CPA (inactive) and is currently self-employed with an accounting/bookkeeping and tax service.
In addition to Mr. Suffrin's service on the school board, he is involved in community and professional organizations as a member of the National School Boards Association, Louisiana School Boards Association, and St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Additionally, Mr. Suffrin has served in leadership roles as current chairman of the Ethel Schoeffner Scholarship Board of Trustees, past president of the Dr. Rodney R. Lafon Performing Arts Center Endowment Fund Board of Directors, and three-time president of the St. Charles Parish School Board. He is married to Debra G. Suffrin, has three children and eight grandchildren, and resides in Destrehan.
