The St. Charles Parish Public School System provides high quality educational opportunities to enable its students to become responsible productive citizens and enthusiastic life-long learners.  Governed by an eight member School Board, the school system believes educating our youth is a shared responsibility of the schools, students, families, staff, local governmental agencies, higher education and the business community.

For more than 20 years, the St. Charles Parish Public School System has been guided by long range goals planned in three year increments, establishing the foundation for a quality educational system.  Those goals and priorities represent three year plans while specific action steps found in the executive summary are implemented and modified on an annual basis.

Stakeholders come together in system-based teams to study relevant data and issues, identify needs, and develop action plans to address those needs.  We are committed to focusing our resources and energies through the Long-Range Strategic Action Plan which serves as the blueprint for continuous improvement.
