R. J. Vial Elementary School, home of the Jaguars, was established in 1975 and has served the communities of Paradis, Bayou Gauche, Des Allemands, and Boutte for more than 40 years. During most of these years, as well as today, R. J. Vial addresses the learning needs of children in third through fifth grade. Led by Principal Christina Mullins, the school is home to more than 250 students and 40 employees. Our school offers an education for all students providing them with opportunities to reach their full potential by participating in numerous academic programs and the arts.
