Norco Elementary School, home of the Eagles, serves students in Pre-Kindergarten through fifth grade. Led by Principal Shannon Diodene, the school is home to more than 450 students and 60 employees. Our school offers an education for all students providing them with opportunities to reach their full potential by participating in numerous academic programs and the arts. Breakfast and lunch—All students enrolled in St. Charles Parish Public Schools are eligible to receive one healthy breakfast and lunch each day at no charge for the 24-25 school year. The menu can be found here.
Bus Registration- St. Charles Parish Schools’ Transportation Department is asking all parents/guardians who will need bus service to complete the bus registration here. If your child(ren) will NOT utilize the bus, you do not need to complete a form.

Transportation Changes during the school year- Please notify the office immediately if there is a permanent change in a student’s address so that the proper bus assignment can be made. Students will not be able to switch buses unless there is a permanent change of address or custodial reasons. If you need to change your child’s transportation method for a short time frame, you can use the following ways to make a short-term change:

Student and Parent Handbook-- Please refer to the NES Parent and Student Handbook for useful information that will help you prepare for the upcoming school year. Our school calendar is also located in the handbook.
NES School Supply List—The NES school supply list is located here. If you ordered a School Toolbox for your child's supplies and it was shipped to school, we will deliver it to your child's classroom.
Water Bottles- Water bottles must be clear, plastic, and have a closed top. Water bottles should not be tinted. NES will supply one to every student.
School Times- School arrival is from 8:30-8:40, and dismissal is from 3:40-3:50.
School Uniform Shirts-- We have switched vendors to Stitch Nola and the store will remain open all year. In addition, Stitch Nola is on Ormond Boulevard in Destrehan, and families can visit the store to try on shirts if needed. The shirt order form is available here.
Medical Needs — If you are bringing medicine, please make sure your child’s doctor has completed the necessary forms. Contact Nicole Schulin, nschulin@wearescpps.
