On behalf of the staff at Ethel Schoeffner Elementary School, I am happy to welcome you to the 2024-2025 school year. The Schoeffner school family is committed to ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all of our scholars. We will lead by example in a caring and respectful learning environment. When we all show cooperation, assertion, responsibility, empathy, and self-control, we will excel to great heights. These are the key ingredients that make our school culture unique. We know a strong partnership with you will make a great difference in your child’s education. We are committed to keeping the lines of communication open so that we may work together to support our scholars’ social and academic growth. Please refer to the St. Charles Parish Public Schools (SCPPS) Student Code of Conduct: District Handbook, the weekly Parent Information Sheets from your child’s teacher, the monthly newsletter, and other periodic communications to remain informed throughout the year. An email/phone message will be sent to you on Sunday evenings at 6:30 regarding important information that is needed for the upcoming week. Your support of school policies and procedures will be of mutual benefit to your child and to the administration of the school. These procedures will be adhered to; however, in the event of unforeseen circumstances, the administration will make procedural decisions in keeping with the safety and best interest of the children.
