SCPPS Provides Update on Ongoing Financial Audit

As reported in late January, St. Charles Parish Public Schools notified the St. Charles Parish District Attorney and the Louisiana Legislative Auditor of potential misrepresentation of the district’s financial standing as presented to the St. Charles Parish School Board and Superintendent.

Since then, we have engaged the independent forensic accounting firm EisnerAmper, which began a comprehensive review of SCPPS finances. This is an ongoing process, and findings will be shared with local and state authorities upon completion.
