SCPPS Notifies Agencies of Potential Misrepresentations of Public Funds

St. Charles Parish Public Schools has notified the Louisiana Legislative Auditor and the St. Charles Parish District Attorney of potential misrepresentations of public funds. The misrepresentations include misstatements of financial position, the use of misleading budget information, and presenting falsified records to the St. Charles Parish School Board and Superintendent. At this time, we have no indication there was any personal benefit or gain by any employee, vendor, or member of the public.

District Launches First Operations Leadership Cohort

St. Charles Parish Public Schools recently marked an important milestone in leadership development with the successful completion of its first Operations Leadership Cohort, a three-day professional learning experience held January 5-7, 2026.

School System Raises More Than $117,000 for United Way of St. Charles

St. Charles Parish Public Schools raised $117,582.41 for the United Way of St. Charles through its 2025 fundraising campaign. An overview of the school system’s campaign was presented to the school board at its meeting on January 14, 2026, where Superintendent Dr. Ken Oertling and School Board President Mr. Scott Cody presented United Way of St. Charles Executive Director John Dias with a check on behalf of the school system’s employees and students.
